Also, if you put them in an oven around 60°C (140°F) I think it is, on something like a silicone baking mat, not metal, for about 15-30 mins, you can drive the water out of the silica gel. Put them in a clean and dry jar as soon as you take them out of the oven and do up the lid, (Push down on the centre of the lid as you twist.) the jar will become hermetically sealed, and the silica packets will last to the heat death of the universe.

In the early 80s, my wife and I discovered, by walking up a dry creekbed that crossed the highway (no fences) a bluebonnet field that was easily 20 acres in full bloom. It was pretty much breathtaking and you couldn't see it from the highway. Off of SH 71 between the Marble Falls cutoff and Llano.
